As a DevOps Engineer you will help design and expand the BlockRules infrastructure as we launch our securities platform and continue to scale our business. You must be a self-starter who is able to collaborate and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. For our mobile app, website, and the platform itself, our DevOps team is vital for keeping things running smoothly. As part of our small team of engineers, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of investing.

Responsibilities

• Harden the company’s operation infrastructure for scalability
• Develop disaster recovery plans
• Automate how software is built, tested, and deployed
• Build, support, and update cloud and on-premise systems and services
• Collaborate with the Network Operations Center team to build a suite of monitoring tools
• Work with developers to improve workflows and software development

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Strong background in Linux-based infrastructure
• Extensive hands-on experience with CD/CI life cycles
• DevOps monitoring/logging experience
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience selecting, configuring, monitoring, and supporting a variety of solutions from Amazon Web Services
• Experience with the Docker container ecosystem (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Understanding of blockchain
