For our distributed ledger technology to transform the fintech space, we must continue to expand and improve our easy-to-use applications. As our iOS/Android Developer you will develop and implement features in BlockRules’ large, complex mobile iOS and Android applications. You will work on our mobile apps at all levels—initial ideation, backend code, user interfaces, and everything in between. You must be a self-starter who is able to collaborate and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. On our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of investing.

• Create user-friendly mobile applications
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Update for improved usability
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of application development experience on iOS/Android
• Strong proficiency with objective-C, Swift, and the iOS development ecosystem
• Strong proficiency with Java and Kotlin for development ecosystem

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Go, Swift, etc.)
• Knowledge of the iOS/Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
• Experience building SPA in React/Redux
• Deep understanding of browser paint cycle and performance implications
• Experience delivering customer-facing iOS/Android applications
• High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
• Knowledge of RESTful architecture
• Experience with backend services and/or JavaScript front-end UI
• Monitoring and analytics tools, such as Grafana, ELK
