As Blockchain Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with our state-of-the-art, decentralized technology that will redefine global financial markets. You will support the automated platform in the cloud, spanning multiple regions around the world. The Operations Specialist is the frontline for managing issuance and trading of securities launched by BlockRules and is vital to ensuring our customers have an unrivaled experience that is both easy to use and secure.
Responsibilities
- Administer compliance monitoring and compliance on-boarding functions including KYC, AML, CDD, and third-party due diligence
- Monitor regulatory updates
- Develop, run, and monitor scripts and tools to manage blockchain-based securities auctions, including bidding and settlement
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with system availability, latency, or performance
- Ensure system capacity is being monitored and considered in planning
- Manage incidents assigned to the team and make sure they are being managed within agreed SLAs
- Create and maintain runbooks used by the team and Service Operations Centre
- Define, refine, and track service level objectives
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in a DevOps/Systems Administration role
- Strong background in Linux and network administration with a good understanding of best security practices
- Knowledge and experience of industry leading public IaaS solutions, such as AWS
- Extensive experience of working with ITIL processes
Preferred qualifications
- Practical knowledge of the Docker container ecosystem (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of code and scripting languages
- Understanding of the software lifecycle
- Familiarity with blockchain
- Experience in the financial industry, internet security, and decentralized exchanges
- Knowledge of crypto-economic design
- Familiarity with investment concepts and frameworks
